Retrofitting

Retrofitting

Couple of popular bibbless minnows.

Who out there is also retrofitting lures straight out of the box? I do this religiously.

Look like decoy singles?

Tried using two right angle eye hooks for the centre one to move them outline from the body? (baker rig)

They are 5/0 Decoy Jigging Sergeants Ollie and Matt, nope, thought just one single would be alright but two might affect the lures action? I'm pretty confident how they are now.

Can't wait to give em a go.

I see that the top 2 lures (Mack)are slightly different to the bottom one in shape (Mac), I have not seen those here in S.A. are they both Halko's?
Please fill me in on your reasons for fitting the single hooks?

Flungy.

I use singles on most of my lures now, i also crush the barbs as i only think these are there to hold the bait on and has no effect in holding the fish on, and does minimum damage to the fish.

Cheers
