Would be well worth a visit and se if the person who put in the add has any more fishing gear for sale.
His facebook appears as the first option when you search the name so shouldn't be hard to track him down. If you have any photos of that spool showing that label in your possession then surely that's enough evidence
been thru this with my sons 2 motorcross bikes - stolen from my shed, played by the rules to start with and informed police of sightings, address info of where they were and in the end had to do it ourselves
Facebook was a wealth of info - spread the word and gather some of the boys and go get it yourself
what are we employing a police force for if at the end of the day when you have found the thriving bastards you get told to sort it out yourself. If you do “sort it out yourself” there is a very good chance you will find yourself with the shitty end of the stick
