did the same thing a few years back.we were heading to the coast towing me boat .looked in the rear view mirror and my boat is on fire.pulled up and went straight for the fire exstinguisher on the boat .only problem was the handle was red hot .got the fire out using the 2 20lt drums of drinking watewr in the boat.another 5 minutes and the fire would of hit 3 jerry cans full of fuel.we lost 3 swags 3 tents a spear gun and a fair bit of fishing gear.BE WARNED DONT FLICK YA CIGGI BUTS OUT THE WINDOW WHEN TOWING A BOAT

huhuh when i was working in caiguna my mate and me were driving towards the site at about 5am. we had both justwoken up so we were really tired and not paying attention..my mate flicked a ciggi out the window of ou ute. about 15-20 min later we got to the site and the boss ran up going WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU TWO? huhuh the ciggi landed in the tray and lit up every sandbag we had lol was the funniest thing i had ever seen
