Yummy Gummy

Yummy Gummy

Had a full on days fishing, starting with a beach Tailor sess at 6am well south of the river with a few mates where I managed a few tailor on stickbaits (thanks guys), then took my young bloke out for a quick fish in the boat well north of the river.

Got some very tasty whiting for dinner, but the young bloke was keen on trying for a gummy in an area we had had success several times before. The young bloke nailed this nice gummy after a good battle. Deep fried goodness coming up!

Now here's a question.....is it a gummy? Just looked at the photo, I am not sure. I did not even check if it had teeth. Looks a bit long nose grey?

It did the usual mad thrash around in the boat near our bare feet and had me and the young fella jumping around a bit, lucky it did not have teeth. I remember being shocked with the long nose Greys we got that Arvo Chrisp on soft plastics, reached in to pull out the hook and.......shiiiiiiiite, it has teeth!
