Brad I broke two of them a couple of years ago.
It was just lucky the guys at the shop swapped them but last time they said nicely its time to try something new!
Shame as they are a nice rod to fish with!

yeah i know of a few that
yeah i know of a few that have been broken, great rod but very fragile. I will not be buying another one, this one only lasted about 6 months

I've busted two live fibres as well, the one I'm using at the moment will be my last.

I wonder if it is the rod or maybe slight damage to the blank during travelling.

Yep - Some live fibres suck
I bought a brand new 24kg live fibre stroker for my game outfit, lastest one outing before it picked up a serious creak from the blank which wasn't just the resin cracking. I went back and swapped it for an ozflex 24kg stick, never had a drama and accounted for a few good billfish. I still have one 15kg stroker in my collection and haven't had any dramas, but are one brand I will steer clear off based on my experience, what you guys have said and the few I've seen snapped when interviewing at the ramps.
