Brad fished the Barra Nationals Andy, which was the week before the Classic. Their team captured the biggest barra for the tournament (105cm) so congrats to team Bleeding Mullets.

Pilbara Represent!

I'll let him fill you in with all the rest of the details.

Yeah, i just had a look at

Yeah, i just had a look at the Darwin Game fishing club website at the results after day three http://www.darwingamefishingclub.com.au/news/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/2008%20Day%203.pdf If any one is interested. Looks like the Daly river has fired up this week, a lot of good sized fish getting caught. The top 3 teams (some of which were in the barra nationals as well) have almost scored more points in three days than all of the winners in our comp after 5 days of fishing.
We finished around 20th overall and i think about 7th in the interstate teams out of 57 teams. Our counterparts, team blinky finished 13th and 3rd overall so well done boys.
Colin Stora from my team landed the biggest barra of the comp with a 105cm barra. I am writing a peice for FWA, so after i have sorted out the photos i will post some on here. Overal the trip was great, caught heaps and heaps of fish just not the monsters we needed to score a heap of points. We met up with the Pilbara team currently in 5th place in the classic at timber creek on the way home. The skipper of that team Cotty knows what he is doing and has been going to the Daly for a long time. Good luck to them!

I bet it was a great experience, though it is a pity the fish weren't as hungry as they were this week. Nice work for Mr Stora.
