Back of GI  , has a deformity right near my third finger on the tail , also had chew marks half way up the side ,  hopefully get a bigger one this year in winter  . Still remember it went 86 cm but only weighed 5.5 kilo was a bit skinny

hahaha @six pack, yeah i dont mind gloves to protect hands but normally always bear feet, nothing worse than shoes on a boat

Ha well one bloke i go out with wears wellies aswell must be the kiwi in him , his probably working out how to sew the velcro onto some gloves at the moment , i always wear an old pair of sneakers just for a bit of grip

Na my earliest memory of fishing was standing on a beach in victoria catching salmon and watch an old person swept out to sea with his waders on and they floated out boots up body down and was found a few days later

The same thing happened at Mandurah with a guy walking into a deeper hole and that was that!

yeah thats the worst thing with waders on the beach, worse thing in vic is the best surf fishing is in winter, and way too cold for shorts in the surf
