hey guys,
Im thinking of heading to ASI groyne this weekend. As I have never been there before, can a normal car with low clearence drive out there? Or do i need a 4wd or a car with higher ground clearence?

You can pretty much get
You can pretty much get down there with a normal car, just have to go slow, as there are a few large holes right at the beginning.
We were down there a couple of weekends ago and the place was packed. Tried to drive right out to the end, but it was packed with cars. We stopped in the middle and had a fish there.

yeah a normal car is fine but if u can take a car with a bit higher clearance it wouldnt be a bad idea because there is a lot of big pot holes. the fishing down there i found has gone a bit quiet as late but i havent been there for a couple of weeks. i have found that woodmans point a bit further down has been holding a lot of herring lately. good luck and let us know how u go mate
