Zonealarm
Submitted by Dreamweaver on Thu, 2008-07-10 09:31.
I was just wondering what people's thoughts were on Zonealarm as a 'soft' firewall? Especially with the MS one provided (I'm running XP). A couple of times (it happened) this morning, I couldn't access any sites or get my email to work (errors). I closed down zonealarm and it was all good.
Thoughts folks?

Only Run 1 Firewall.
If you run a third party firewall turn off windows firewall as you will get conflicts.
BTW unless you need to Windows firewall is more than enough just dont forget the windows updates and a good Antivirus.

Tx Lindsay, which one you reckon is best?
Thanks for the feedback Lindsay - which do you think is best - Windows or Zone?

Personally
I only use Windows as it is more than enough.
I do like some of the features in Zone but MS and third party software allways seems to do weird thing every now and again.
