Two Rocks Sunday

Went out from Two Rocks with Dazza and Scottnofish for the first time on Sunday. Geez you Northeners have it good. Good looking ground everwhere. Its a 200km round trip for me but it was worth it.

It just needs a 4 lane boatrampTongue out. That queue in the morning is a bugger.

It would appear to of been quite the fishwrecked turnout up there. I saw the Goat had made the trip up as well.

That was definately worth the trip and the boat ramp hassles.

The shark was a b#stard

Mon, 2008-07-14 19:19

The shark was a b#stard shark!! I call it that because when it hit the deck it grabbed my new black magic harness and chewed the crap out itYell. It was like playing tug of war with a pit bull.

Some type of whaler. Not a bronzie cos its too grey, not a sandbar as the fins where too short, didnt have black tips on the pecs or dorsal, dont really know for sure.

As for the depth mostly high 30's to low 40's. Did try out deeper in the 60's thru to 90's but didnt get much out there. Lots of undersized dhuies out there too. The biggest fish came from low 30's on the way back in.
