New light gear pb

It has taken a while but finally my old light tackle Sambo PB has been cracked. Went out for a quick fish with the family on Monday arvo, and had a play with some soft plastics off the back of the three mile. Second cast and mr Sambo decides to jump on. 20 minutes later and I have new PB.

38lb landed on 15lb tuffline and 20lb fluro leader. Very stoked! The old one was 34lb on the same outfit.
FYI outfit is a 7' Loomis 10-15lb and a Branzino.

You are very lucky to stop him on light line.

Those Branzino's are a great little reel eh?

BTW nice pants mate Laughing

Have a great day.

Thought you would like them Lindsay!
Took a fair bit of line first run but didn't bury me so I just played him out and he ended up just going forward of the boat and sitting on the bottom.

Did it take a soft plastic? If so, which one?

The fish on the baitboard is an Amberjack frame that I was using for Burley. Col - took a white snapback 4" I think on a 1/2oz TT jighead.
