if the wind is comig from
if the wind is comig from the south, try the disabled platform and use a biggish sinker and whiting/skippy hooks. use prawns or squid and u should get some. have a bigger rod out with mayb a whiting or something along those lines with a sinker to take iot out and keep the line tight. was there today and plenty of skippy and whiting were around

Hey Jesse
Try casting an unweighted mulie with its tail cut off near the lighthouse. Use a small set of gangs if you have them. If not, try a half mulie with a 3/0 or 2/0 hook and maybe a small running ball sinker. Either cast directly north, or out into the channel entering the marina. Don't be afraid to bring your bait in quite close to the rocks. I tend to find a few good skippy and tarwhine hang under the edge near the rocks there. If you are going during daylight hours you might have a problem with blowies out there. If they are priving to be a hassle, try fishing on the disabled platform, or just east of there. Don't be afraid to try inside the harbour next to Spinnakers Restaurant. Cast as close to the boats as you can. Prawns are definately worth a go if you have any.
