hey again just wondering what do u guys think about the spheros range..thinking of getting one of them not sure 14000 or 18000 yet..but what do u guys recommend ..would be using it for lb fishing from beaches ,jetties,etc...feed backs would be lovely = ]

go the new models as i think
go the new models as i think they have the bearing upgrade ... or just go see honsu for the upgrade on the old model ... both should be great reels

I have a 14000fa, I have given it some stick (lock the drag up and pull like sh*t)to over the time I've had it, never failed as yet. Not sure about the 18000 but was thinking of getting the wife a spheros to stretch her arms with.

i have a 14000
used it for 1 jigging season about 3 years ago caught about 30 sambos and never had any probs .i am selling the spheros for $100 if your interested as i have upgraded to stella 20000 pm if interested
