Black jews generally have a much darker appearance than the typical 'silver' mulloway. Apparantly, black jews also have a thicker tail wrist .. which is why they supposedly fight better than their southern counterparts.

Yeah they are very tough fish, I got a 35lb 112cm fish last barra season and it was an epic battle to say the least.
