I dont think that is a 50kg fish either. I'd be more inclined to say 37-40kg. If you look at Rob C's 50kg fish last year or the one before it makes that look like a bit of a tadpole. But without length or being weighed its a just never know and based upon opinion.
50kg, i don't think so either.
If anything, 100lb = 45kg. might have been over-enthusiastic for the day, and more than happy to call this fat bugga for a 100lb, but the pictures don't seem to back that up, unfortunately
Too bad I'm piss weak, and by that time couldn't hold it up well enough for a good picture, but it was very rotund. from memory I think measurement was 1330 fork length, so it wasnt long. anyway, we had to swim this fish for a while, cause it floated up, so i guess its good we didn't spend TOO much time trying for a good photo shot. fish first ey, can always get another one later ;) (i hope)
shall we just agree I need to get back out there and give em (and recieve) a floggin' again? =D =D
NOT BIG ENOUGH!
thanks again for that great day out boys =)
stephen I got a fair bit of all the stuff u asked for, should last u a while.
As kasey said about 1350 fork length but the photo does not do the fish justice. This was the fattest fish of the day. took 2 of us to lift for the photo. I will still put in the the 100lb range.
nah mate, shopping overseas aint cheap at all, what with all this Fisherman, Carpenter and Seven Seas stuff; really rippin a hole in the wallet. ;) ;) ;)
guess we'll have to get out there and do it again, and try and get a bigger one/better picture ey steve?

Condition
Good condition on this fish Kasey, but I'm not sure if it's 45-50kg's worth.
What do you boys reckon. Can be deceptive when the fish length is quite short.
