Should have seen some of them trading paint in the centre. It was like watching a mobile boat yard.
I can just see my boat in the background there. Had the missus and kids with me and we were just sitting on the Southern edge of the pack with the kids commenting on all the action.
yeah but andy you were there in it and how insane was it. like you couldnt cast out for soem twat running over your line or bashing into you. at one time i countedx twenty boats getting on top of the boil and no one had room to play a fish
but i like my boat front and centre thanx andy
Yeh i had a few goes at getting in the pack. Im just glad i know how to drive my boat, I saw quite a few boats hit each other. I hadly fished because i was to busy trying to doge other boats.
I dare say a lot of those irresponsible boaties that spoil it for everyone else have never read a web site thread about fisheries management. Unless we dob them in when we see it happening there isn't a lot we can do to stop them. Or is there?
Any suggestions?
I'm sure many go out legitimately after the ban ends to see if they can pick up a few stragglers after the main groups have dispersed, but looking at scenes like that, it must have been like shooting fish in a fishbowl. No challenge in that. I've got to ask, "is it worth it?". Very glad they stepped up the ban, now like Adam says lets see if they put some resources into enforcing it. These are special breeders and worth protecting from mass slaughter.
Good to see you guys got out of there in one piece. I don;t think I would be heading into a melee like that any time soon.

Very sad indeed...
1 big fish is enough for a family....and the flesh goes average when you freeze it.....
