stuff the Barra there great,
stuff the Barra there great, if not the best lure taker around and proberly on the wish list of many people but you cant beat the taste of a nice fresh jack. I rate them as the best table fish around. An old guy in Broome once told me that if the first Barra gets away it means the last for the day. It was true for me a couple of times.

Gotta agree with you there
Gotta agree with you there about the eating qualities of jacks spess. A jack is a bonus though and I'd rather catch a barra any day. I fish for sport, not eating.

Nothing on lures SPESS but they take baits just as hard.
Didnt get a photo but my missus got one a litle bit bigger than that one and it really tested her. Good jack too.

the jacks do go harder, pound for pound than the barra. It's just a shame we don't get the big mommas in the creeks... wish they jumped too!
