Good fish mate, love me tuna!! looks like a black tuna or our bluefin as the pectral fins arnt as long as the albacore we get over here

I think this is a Bluefin Tuna, maybe, not an Albacore!!

Maybe a Albacore IF pectorol fins are long! (But not visible in the pic) and too chubby, more likely a Blackfin Tuna. NOT a Bluefin at all, not long enough, and its too chubby. I say Blackfin!!

I agree, I believe it to be a Blackfin Tuna, in Dominican Republic they call this Albacore. We did have great sashimi. We took 3 of these to a restaurant called Marocha and we went about 12 people to have a dozen different tuna plates for everyone to try. Very memorable dinner, drinks and cigar.
