Landbased Dhui off the Beach 88cm 11.5kg

Got this Dhui up the Coral Coast on the long weekend. Absolutly suprised the hell out of me as i was fishing for Mulloway off a beach and thought it was just a wobby when i first hooked it(actually for where i was fishing i didnt think i would get anything). He went 88cm and 11.5kg. It actually is bigger than any of my Dhuis i have caught off my boat. So my PB Dhui is off the land hahahaha. Got him on my Emblem Pro and 13ft Looomis and Franklin Shockwave, 30lb mono.
Posted for considration as an entry to the next POTM Comp(if they are still running the comp?)
I will post a full report on the trip later :)

Yeah there was some reef to the right about 100m and to the left about 150m. Guess it probably came from out deeper to patrol along the shore line and was maybe transiting between the two shore reefs when it found my bait.

any one know the rules here? do you need a fishing lic to catch dhu from the beach? and is it the same possesion limits?
getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.

Same as if you caught any other fish from the beach. Same bag limits (1 per person), same size limits. No boat limits apply (as theres no boat!), no RFBL needed.

Cheers for the comments guys, definitly a capture i am sure to remember for a loooooong long time, and probably never to be repeated again by me too :P.
Matt i was hell pumped and buzzing(in shock?) for about an hour after catching it! needed a rum to calm me down hahahaha. Didnt really pump me for the rest of my trip though as i caught it on the last night of the trip. I headed back home the next morning. Was a great trip ender though!
