Which one to choose?

Just wanted to get some feed back regarding which braid to use that is NOT cheap BUT doesn't cost the earth. Something that would compare to say 50 - 80lb Berkley Whiplash as I use this for jigging on my Stella 20 thou' and is great stuff. Predominantly I will be using it for bottom bashin' and it will be spooled on my NEW PENN TRQ200 OH reel..... Thanks lads.....

Tuff Line
20lb or 30 lb no more than that.
Cajun line is pretty good too.

Jigman X8
Its not like your gonna lose a lot of it Max so put something nice on it IMO. Tuffline XP is good but I like using the multicoloured braids for bottom bashing/jigging.
Jigman X8 isnt bad but Varivas (ebay) is great. Ties beautiful knots and is very thin for its breaking strain.

20lb tuffline in under
20lb tuffline in under 30metres and then i use 50lb coloured daiwa accu braid for over this....same for jigging.
Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!

if you want 80lb, go 500yds
if you want 80lb, go 500yds of 80lb Fins ;) Nice and thin. Alltho a 200 size overhead i think 50lb is sufficient.

Ive got some whiplash on my salty ,and cant say much for it as it kept breaking while tieing knots, but not at the knot itself.pulled about 20m off it and all seems fine for now.its very thin and ussally the first line to pop when lines rub.Tuff lines no too bad but i would go the 65lb .Ive have been trying power pro 50lb and its thin as ,got it for ballooning off the cliffs ,put 1500m of it on my inter 16s.Thats a lot of line. For abrasion resistance you just can beat the good old xds fire line in 35lb ,which is about 50-60 lb any way .

IMO!
Max,
I use Tuffline XP and Berkley Whiplash Pro for my heavier braids, both very good and I'll stand by the quality!
80lb is what I use, more than enough!
