Hard to say...longtails outnumbered the mackies about four or five to one this trip and were generally much bigger (though not in this pic) so I guess the longtails went harder. Both go pretty well with a nine foot whaler up their ar$e.

Weather was pretty awful for June...it's supposed to be all blue skies and sunshine but we got quite a bit of rain and wind. Hard to notice the rain when you've got longtails climbing all over a popper.

Always rated both types of Tuna on the end of the line. From your scientific testing Ian which one did you reckons pulls harder?
