New custom berley mix!
Hey guys ive just made some new pellets which seem to be the ducks nuts on many species. Ive been trialing them for a while now but believe ive hit the best combination. They are a 6mm pellet loaded with crushed wheat, lupins, oat hulls, meat and fish meal. Then lightly coated in tuna and aniseed oil. Fish feramones are also added. When applied to the water they sink slowly breaking up as they go down with the lighter products rising back to the surface and the heavier lining the ocean floor. One hand full makes a nice slick and every fish ive caught while using it is spewing it out...works good. Sherbert has tried my last mix which is awsome but this ones better.
Ive made the product up in 25kg buckets and if the last trials work good (trying soon on deep water fish and the KG's) it will be avail for sale.( Have to run this by the fishwrecked boss first but see how we go. )

I have to work out what it costs me! but around a $1 a kilo plus $5 for the bucket which can be dropped off to refill. Pretty cheap considering, because i get all the ingrediants whole sale. You will be impressed though dont need much, the 20kg i have origanilly made has lasted for ages and doesnt need anything to be added even after a month due to everything being inside the pellet itself! Can add pollard as well for the avid bait chasers after yellow tail, herring and the like but doesnt need it. Put it up soon as ive work it out, Cheers chris.

Yeah i need a good berley to attract and keep fish at me. I run out all the time of that mako strike stuff. Tried the aniseed stuff too and its not bad... but yeah, your stuff sounds primo!

Mine is also a dry product with a hint of a oily feel to it and the best thing its easy to disberse in the water and can also be throwen a mile from a rock wall. No need for berley cages with this stuff, just through out and retreive through it!

The company i work for is one of the biggest stockfood manufactors around exporting all sorts of cubes and pellets around the globe. Its basically a modified chook pellet ive been playing with, like everyone im getting sick of paying good money for shit berley. So i desided to make me own :) Sounds like ill have to make some more.
PS: The buckets are food grade fully sealable ones, which you need so the stuff doesnt go off and lasts for a while. There $7.50 each but they can be reused when you run out and need a refill. It works out to be just over $32 a bucket......1/2 the price of what you pay in shops. Shops equalls $2.80/kg mine $1.50/kg. But you dont need much and 20kg is a lot:)

To just clear a few things up, ive had a few pm's saying that this product is basically is chook pellets! I have being trialing this product for sometime with protien levels and attractent levels to make sure that the fish wont grow to fast on it and to monitor there levels. This is because fish farms are also using this now to breed fish on it and they are having great sucess. Im fully licensed to do these trials and to buy the products in the pellets and it has been fully tested by the dept of agriculture! If anyone else is wondering that they can make the same product feel free, im only doing it to help members out with the only fish pellet product on the market that is cheap and can be brought in bulk. A full analisys of the product will be put up if need be to correct some of the miss leading pm's ive recieved.
The recipe that is stated on the above comments is just a rough estimate with some ingredients not mensioned due to copy cat purposes. Hopefully this has answered anyones questions about buying the product, it was easier to write it up here than to answer all the pm's as i started to but there was to many. $30 for a bucket mmmmmmmmmm not but you do the sums, pretty cheap and if you are still a bit iffy wait until some others trial it. Cheers boys theres another batch getting done this week if anyones keen on some.
