Getting excited now !!!
Checklist
1) Boat Yes
2) Deckies Most of the time (you guys may need to help sometimes)
3) Good rod and Reel Yes (lets see if I can kill this combo)
4) Lots of Jigs Yes (but you can never have to many)
5) Big Release weight Yes
6) Spare Back, Shoulders and Arms NO !!! Anybody out there got them for sale ???

There is one thing that is worse than a sambo and it is an Amberjack!
They have killed me everytime I have caught them.
They fight 50% harder than a sambo pound for pound!
I would hate to hook one over 30kgs as I was ready to give in with 20kg ones!

But actually a very important point here is, do look after the samsons, correct CnR is very important. Do understand that the fish do come first. If you don't know how to land, handle and release them well, perhaps you can ask someone like mav who has done hundreds and hudnreds of fish; I can volunteer to help too although no expert but spent last summer learning. Muck up boys and hey you will be in hot soup if you get caught (even if maybe its just once). my 2 cents.

Rytar you are just a big pussy! I have to say to an "extent" i agree but for us perth fisherman its a rare cahnce we can go out and get into decent hard pulling sport fish on every drop! Not bad considering we dont have many mackies or GT's hanging around ;)

Myself and bouttime will be heading out pretty regular so yeah i think that can be arranged. Ill talk to the skipper as soon as he gets back. But its good to get out with other boats........but usally theres shit loads out there anyway to give you the shits.lol.

I want for the 1st time last year and it put abig smile on my face and pain in my back, I was useing honsu great and steves/ Bouttime , And after the 1st one i had to sit down and after four i had all i could take, And the other boys pull around ten to fourteen each, BUT CANT WAITE TO RETURN AND TAKE MY YOUNG LAD AS WELL

on a serious note, if at the end of the day the soreness is focused on the lower back, it is a sign of incorrect technique. hope noone goes out and sprains or hurts themselves.
