Heard on the grapevine today that the closure is for 2 years.

Bill, the test so far has show a big increase in crab numbers in the Sound and the rebuild good. The Fisheries are going to review it soon and the talk is to close it for 1 more year and then the stocks would be back to a good state. The 4 year life cycle of the crabs needs more recruits and that's why they'll go one more year perhaps......jmo
