SPESS	Best dhuie bait! Fillet the Wed, 2007-10-31 07:08 Best dhuie bait! Fillet the very back slabs off each side, and be careful not to pierce the guts though IT IS POISINOUS! If you fillet from the back bone down you get two nice fat fillets for your snelled dhuie rig.........then you arent waisting a pest. Then give the head back to the fish gods :) Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!

Karlos	Blowies Wed, 2007-10-31 20:23 correct me if i am wrong but i was under the impression that we are advised not to throw them back as they are considered pests...( even heard someone say its illegal to throw them back but yeah .....)maybe some one who knows the rules has something to add come and get it fishy fishy fishy !!!!!!

Rodrat	Blowies Thu, 2007-11-01 09:27 I once used a nor west blowie for bait up in Exmouth one year. Was on learmonth jetty. Worked just like any other fish bait. Usally release them though as they are garbage trucks of the ocean and clean up dead fish and stuff.
