Was otherwise engaged for a few days and returned to find I'd missed the boat somewhat on the book thread (Damn you sea-kem)... so here's my contribution to pull together some of the recent talk regarding non-fishing related entertainment. The demersal ban is on down south and up here in Derby I'm waiting for the wet to start, so there's a few fishers with spare time to ponder other matters. Here's my premise:

If you were to be stranded on a desert island for the rest of your life and could only take 3 Albums, 3 Books and 3 Movies, what would they be? It's no easy task restricting it to three choices for each but for what it's worth, here's my contribution:

BOOKS

1. The Water Method Man- John Irving

2. Captain Corelli's Mandolin- Louis De Bernieres

1. Miller's Crossing

2. The Usual Suspects

3. To Kill a Mockingbird

Bit left field in parts but I guess that's the point. You may relate to a few choices suggested by someone but haven't heard of some of the others, so you check them out and discover something you like. Looking forward to seeing what others have to offer.
