Got back from Exmouth on Sunday had a great time,but did'nt catch many fish.Brought back 3-4kg of snapper fillets which will feed us for a while.We fished mainly the bayside as the wife prefered the marina boatramp.Tried up around the NW cape where we caught all our Bluelined Emperiors and one Rankin Cod.Eric a mate from Mandurah stayed a week with us so we ventured out to Tandabiddi where we bottom bounced for reef dwellers.We fished in any depth from 10m out to 70m hooked up to some big stuff but they either pulled the hook or broke off,frustrating but always thinking I'll get the next one.I managed one Spangled while Eric boated and released two thumper Trevally.One day Eric managed to get a Cobia boatside only to lose it seconds later,thems the breaks.Reports from the locals and other fisho's told the same story not much happening.Good reports from behind the Muriens with good catchs of Reds,Rankins,Snapper and the likes being caught,too far to travell for me,but that's where it was going off.Will send some pics when I figure out how.
