I just rang CH Smith to discuss my options of either sourcing a 585 and buying a 1KW ducer from them or buying a new 627 with 600w ducer.

Very interesting that he said that as of last week Furuno are recalling the 627s but wasn't sure why and that they currently aren't available due to the recall. Has anyone had their's recalled and do you know what the issue was as I'm not keen to drop my cash until I know the issue has been well and truely sorted.
