The aim of the forum is to discuss:



• Introduced Marine Pests and introduced marine species and their potential effect on the south west

• Future Changes in the Leeuwin Current and its impacts on the South West Marine Environment

• The oceanography of climate change off the coast of WA

•  Introduced Marine Pests and introduced marine species and their potential effect on the south west

•  Current status of situation and how we can minimise the chances of pest entering the marine environment in WA



7pm Dr. Nick Caputi, Supervising Scientist (Invertebrates), Department of Fisheries, Western Australian Fisheries and Marine Research Laboratories.

•  Long term temperature changes in the lower west coast of WA and the effect of climate change on rock lobster stocks.



7.30pm Associate Professor UWA, Anya Waite

•  The oceanography of climate change off the coast of WA.
