Last saturday got burgled(Thornlie).....They stole my stella sw10000(2008) silver and gold in mint condition with a gold and silver Jigging master ball knob handle.(twas in a little case inside the rod pouch)....white braid tasline on it...with a sticky label saying how much line/what pe/leader weight written on it(on spool).....in a shimano pouch....4 meter leader with 2 inch PR knot...MINT condition.......also all of these spools (all in mint) in black temple reef hard cases that hold two spools....they are black and my name is written on them in black...so if you tilt the case you will see my name j.cox ........spool sizes written on case ie 20/18 10/10 10/16 5/6 ........2008 and spools(gold silver) = sw 20000/sw18000.......sw10000/sw10000 ....sw10000/jm16000 monster spool.......sw5000/swb6000.......all with braid and leader and all present as new in the black temple reef hard spool cases.....some i will never get to replace.......keep an eye out buddies....have seen the sw20000 spool on gumtree briefly and my canon G10 was sold on there before my very eyes !....Low life pricks...get a fucking job.

p.s all this has been told to the police.....ad reported to gunmtree and gumtree wont release in fo on the sellers for 3 weeks.......thats bloody good isnt it?....so i am hunting them down.

Gents..some 4 years ago i sold my old boat through the boat shack in Joondalup.

Pretty sure the owner was a site member Paul...., any one know if hes still operating it or still visits the site ?. Friend from work is thinking about using a boat yard but is finding the commission of a few to be high-ish.

just windering if anyone one can suggest any Australian based suppliers, of fibreglass replica or taxidermy style wall mountable fish? The type that you see sometimes mounted at a fishing club, a fishing inspired pub etc.

I known you can obviously get your once in a lifetime catch done via a taxidermist. Instead I was wondering if anyone in here has purchased, or knows of a supplier, for fiberflass & wall mountable fish art?

Ive seen some awesome examples in the USA (online web pages) but the freight to get such a thing to Australia would make me bankrupt. Any suggestions of a Australian based supplier for such a product would be greatly appreciated. Looking to deck the man cave with a few examples of them.

 Unfortunatley the time has come to sell our much loved toy.

we are building a new boat to start a charter business and unfortunatly our whitley needs to go 

we brought this boat new in late 2017 and it has been a dream ever since we often go out the the trench , fads and anywhere we want without ever feeling unsafe in pretty much any weather perth could throw at us.

the new four stroke mercury 150hp motor has been great also using roughly 17l and hour at 3500 revs 24knots. it has 300 hours.

we added an extra sounder so it has x2 lowrance hds 9 screens with a total scan transducer also we loose ground at 350m 

the boats in great nick and is still pretty much brand new.

it has a salt water deck wash a heap of storage massive kill tank and is comfortable for overnight stays at rotto also.

its also the only second hand one for sale in australia 

first to see will buy it can also be towed by any 4wd also weighing around 2.2 tonne loaded..

length is 6.7m by roughly 2.4m beam 

we  are not really in a rush to sell but decent offers  will be considered.

 Those that have long memories and been fishwrecked members since its inception might be a little shocked to learn that I am selling my pride and joy after all these years. Whereas those that may have joined up in the last 5 years or so wouldn't know what the all the fuss is about or who the hell I am. I just haven't been fishing since I found my love of playing music a few years back, and so haven't posted anything these last 5 years or so. Things have changed so far that my guitar and amp collection is now worth more than my rod and reel collection and close to the value of the boat.

The other reason I am selling is because, as I am nearing retirement I think we will be moving house in the near future to be close to some inland waters where a different style boat will be needed in order to spend time fishing.

So yes its time I let the old girl move on to someone else to enjoy and benefit from it's undeniable fish magnet capabilities. (It still has the original fishwrecked stickers on the boat)

I'm sure if I asked the long list of fishwrecked members I have taken out on this thing over the years to provide testimony, they would sing its praises as a great hull, well suited to offshore fishing. Those that know me well, will also attest to the fact that I keep it ship shape and well serviced. It includes a brand new trailer, brand new clears, new epirb and flare sets, new upholstery at the helm, brand new dual batteries and a sounder/GPS full of hundreds of my metro fishing spots to get you started.

 Ok so i finally finished it, but not to the full spec i originally planned ( no solid timber legs ) all specs are the same as previously advertised, 8 seater 2.4m long and width varies from 1.4m to 1.1m being a natural single slab. Has full resin fill and satin black legs ( suit black leather chairs) and glossy NATURAL edge. As there is a baby on the way i need to clear it out of the spare room so ive gotta sell it, but im not gonna give it away. Im looking for around the $3000, pick up is wanneroo, but it is an extremely heavy slab so two strong blokes and a van or ute will be needed, or i can deliver and place down for a little extra.

 Im in the process of making a dining room table, it will comfortably sit 8. Single piece slab 1.4m-1.0m and 2.46m long natural edge. I havent made a pedastal/legs yet so if someone wants to buy i can make to suit a design/colour that will match the buyers wants. At the  moment i have designed some gloss black angled pedestal type legs. The table is for sale so if anyone is keen or knows any one who is keen please let me know. This will be a one of a kind table no other like it, all gum vein and worm holes are filled with clear resin, picture shows after first coat of resin quite a few more to go to get a perfectly flat glossy surface, this slab is loaded with feature as the picture shows. As it is not finished i have not got a final price but from a previous one i done, i will be working on a figure of around $8000ono. I also have a much larger slab to do next which is marri not as much feature but still natural edge and will comfortably sit up to 12. Any questions dont hesitate pm me.
