nice , biggest drama with them is the starter motor , I have always called them the electric starter with kick assistance starter motor , you can buy a mod for them these days to convert them from 2 brushes to 4 brushes . But it does look nice he has done a good job, I will keep an eye out for him , and isn't that centre stand a good thing why don't manufatures fit them on modern bikes , my rudge has a hand operated center stand , you just pull up pull on the hand lever near the tank and the bike pops on the center stand
Drags too easily and spoils the view from the rear. I ddi the 4 pole conversion years ago, it actually just means getting an older Mercury outboartd starter and using the bits. Upgrade the wiring, bigger earth from batttery to motor cases. Very strong, So strong you fuck up clutch sprags. Back to square one. edit--that tank must be an Indian repro, with those knee indents. Stockers never had them.
