Decided to brave the swell today knowing vis would be crap and got the rewards. 1 tank dive in 30m got our 16 easy pickings. Crays are everywhere at the moment. Surge was terrible and vis was crap so got smashed around a bit but was nice to be in the water.

got out yesterday with dumper in the arvo. did ok on a tank each with 14, but they were all doosies! not as many as this time last year though.
also snapped my fkn anchor rope at the chain, and tanks were dry and are now out of service... will have to get it in a week or 2.

on the deeper parts of the 3 mile Tiimmbo. Water is still cooler, and it was also a bit surgier than usual yesterday. Could've been why the roaches were scarce.

Viz and conditions crap today. Surge shocking. Crays in zombie mode. Easy pickings atm. Few whites also today

yeah the surge was terrible,
yeah the surge was terrible, some of the worst I have dived in luckily the crays are docile. I looped 2 and the rest were easy pickings by hand today.
