13m of water

got a call last wednesday morning from a mate and after both recieving a hall both from our girlfriends we decided to go out for a night fish.

it was my first time leaving from hillarys and we left at around 6pm. being new to this area i didnt have much idea where to go so i checked the charts and found well known lumps. we ended up anchoring in 13m of water and after a slow start of only catching two eels the persistance paid off. we managed to land numerous dhufish (only one size), an undersize pink snapper, a bronze whaler, nice size tailor and a few pike.

after about 6 hours out on the water we decided to pack it in as we couldnt get past the pike and heading in back to hillarys which i must say is quite a tight little place to get into.

cheers

Shark cleaning

Should be done as soon as you get it out of the water, the longer you leave it the worse its going to taste.

Good catch from unknown ground, better than stopping home and picking fluff from your navel thats for sure.

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
