um... not sure how much they cost my dad has a licence on the fisheries website it said that i think it was if you are under 16 you dont need a licence so i dont need one but ill ask my dad because he has one and always renews it each season

 um yea in the season if you have a licence you can fish anywhere but just look for sighns or ask people because some rivers/dams are snare only but youll find that most places are drop net friendly

no sorry i dont i live in dardanup near bunbury dont go to perth all to often its good here marron are all fairly close to my area.

some good rivers around here are the preston, the capel, blackwood could be inclueded but its about an hour and a half drive so we dont marron there much um theres the collie river, st johns brook is realy good to then theres bailingup brook theres lots more but i think ill stop there or your eyes will get saw haha do you have any nets???

yea sorry mate you have to use drop nets like the crab nets but actually they have a bigger hole so the babies can escape easier and so that the dont get fished out quite as easily but once you learn to pull them in right you generally catch whatever is in it but they still get away sometimes

and be sure to get a muessure so you dont get busted for undrsized ones...

do you have a bcf in perth if you do go in and ask for marron nets but make sure they dont give you crab nets they accidentally gave my dads friend a crab net when he asked for a marron net but he didnt know that he had the wrong thing because he had never marroned before and got busted... i think he only got a warning though

but that was in bunbury so its ok haha

yer i eat them sometimes but normally when we go marroning im busy trying to catch a redfin or trout for tea haha but its quite nice just remember to take out the

s*** line before you start eating otherwise it will taste like mud and sand haha

its a big black line running down the marrons stomache just grab it and pull it upwards it will just rip out

i love salt water fishing but i just love the soroundings and peacfullness of freshwater fishing

every now and then i get 3 or four you rarely catch one redfin becayse they tend to school so if you catch one you tend to catch more minutes later if you keep fishing but i rarely catch the starter fish lol
