Solo Black Marlin, got soo close last year...
Jig up a billfish, i'm thinking outside the box this year...
i'll be in Perth in the coming days and well i'm hoping to get the chance to fish with Ryan so i'm not sure what to target there yet maybe a YFT or a deep drop monster
10kg red in Karratha
1.5kg squid
kids to land a fish from the boat or the mrs to tag a billfish as well.

MY WISH LIST
Is pretty bloody simple............to get the boat in the water. It is neary 2 years to the day since my boat has seen the ocean. Was only talking to the missus the other day saying that I may as well sell it so at least someone will get to take it out. Anyway, I do hope to get out in the new year and catch a fish. Any fish will do ........
Anyone want a 6.1m Quintrex...

2015 wish list
Off to exy in April so most of mine are from there...
1. Red emp on jig
2. Spangled on surface lure - popper or stickbait
3. 10kg+ Mack or tuna on stickbait
4. 1m+ queenie on 6lb gear
I think most are achievable but Red emp on jig is by far the hardest!

Not too much to ask :-)
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Have to cut the list
I have to cut the list down to things that I can actually manage.
1. 40+cm Bream in a comp, seem to get them outside of comps but then can't land them on comp day!
2. Tailor on lures from the beach.
3. Queenie on one of my trips for work up north.
4. A nice size Dhu fish, 70cm will do for me.

Been a while since I wet a line, so I am hanging out for Steep Point in April. Gotta try & get back into the LBF so it's time to clear out the shed & gather it all up. Good excuse for more gear hey. LOL.
cheers Rob
