Yes I think the big ones
Yes I think the big ones will be staying. Will grab some and get some good pics but I will get a feed of the smaller ones .I don't have a pot big enough to cook them in.

Peel
Take the meat out of the tail and cook it in the frypan with a little garlic butter. With the legs and horns just drop them in a pot and boil them.

Jumbos
Some nice jumbos there Paul. Would expect most of them are oversize females out at that depth.

I was surprized as you know
I was surprized as you know you only get one or two jumbos some times in the pots ,but there are plenty down there I could bag out on jumbos no worries at all.and with there size they are and eazy target .

Pros
When the pros work that ground after the whites have finished they sometimes get 5+ big females in each pot and they must go back as they are either oversize or setose which really piss the deckies off because the long whiskers scratch the skin off their upper arms above where the gloves go.

Great video
Great video Paul... Would have been tempting to put a few of them in the catch bag.
Brings back memories from years ago. Would be down there with you in a flash tomorrow but since being diagnosed with borderline asthma that has put paid to me going down more than 3 metres :-(
Cheers,

Surpriseing
Another good vid paul your camera skills are improving, i enjoy my diving but have not gone past the 30m
so it is good to have a look at that depth and the different ground your finding.
Usually after catching a cray from a bunch like that the rest will run for cover, not them monsters they must know what time of year it is.
Good work for posting the last couple of vids i am sure its mission that you could easally do with out.

Two Rocks
Dive that ground off two rocks a fair bit, Call em breeding lumps most those jumbos are all haired up so we leave them alone. Even the big males we leave now cause you gotta respect something that grows to that size.

Another great video Paul. Really looking forward to doing some of that deep cray hunting when I get home.
