Rick that lump hold big number off cray most of the year but 80% are females so would be a lot of sorting on the bottom.

Great video Paul. Really

Wed, 2010-10-20 20:41

Great video Paul. Really gets you thinking about the way we fish. A mate of mine dived Nato reef in the SW last year and was blown away by the big blues and dhuys in some of the caves. He said the current was really strong and it was definitely not for the unexperienced or unfit. Just about impossible to fish right on top of Nato reef because of the swell and even when the swells down theres so much structure you just get bricked.

Great stuff Paul. Awesome to see the fish stocks 'recovering'. Some biggen crays amongst that lot as well. Role on the 15th of Nov I hear you say. There might be some divers exploring greater depths this season me thinks.

Yonga, not being Rude at all

Wed, 2010-10-27 15:26

Yonga, not being Rude at all but nobody is going to share a treasured spot with anyone, because it takes so much time and energy to get them in the first place. The good news is there are spots out there, and you will find them with time and patience. I have a few spots up here that I treasure, and pull up all gear etc if a boat comes within sight. Out comes the "idiot" act to make sure they think we are leasuring, and not fishing. Pinging someones spots are not cool.
