I've seen pictures of 975 penn inters with different style knobs on the handle, but have no idea how to change as it doesn't have a screw... any ideas

I went for the Gold aftermarket Surecatch handle Dean.

If you want to change just the knob you will most likely have to get one that has the screw in the back for mounting and drill out the old one.

Honsu has changed them with one from another reel too just cant remember which one. Depends if you want a standard or Bling.

Dean, you need to replace the whole handle which comes with a better/larger knob like the Trinidad handle setup, we've done a few of those and they work well.

Yeah, something to think about. One of those tomman reel (handles) would work good.

Too big for the 975. The Trinidad handle will be a better fit. I did one for a mate and its alot better. I might be able to get you a Jigging Master one, not cheap but at around $150.

Hey Honsu

Looks like someone stuck a bong on the side of your reel. Not a bad idea really. Maybe a stubby holder on the other side. Bewdiful

yes it is but there's nothing else on the market and the amount of mods I did on the reel I can warrant it. This is a drill out job. Your 975 is worth more than my Avet. The Trinidad is a complete swap and its about $50. Work more hours. Doesnt BCF pay you enough??
