Ok We are heading to the islands over chrismas No real dates as yet but will be 4-5 day trip .Happy to have first timers tag along ,will be diving, free diving, trolling kayaking, and fishing bit of all things. And just having a great time ,could be there for new years as last year. Have 3-4 boats allready heading over on last check.I don't need crew but there could be a spot on one of the other boats, if they are short. We do all enjoy a drink after a big day but If your idea of a holiday is drinking piss all day and being a knob this trip will not be for you

Just parking at the marina is rarely any problem and free. In fact I haven't personally heard of anyone being broken into as its open, visible and well lit.
Failing that I have a vacant block on each side of my house and 50 meters from beach (but 10ks north of the ramp) where any non-knobs :-) are welcome to park their cars.
Im going over at xmas as well maybe with a couple of others from here but message me for info if you want.

Im keen also depending on dates and weather. Probably do as per Jarrid, 2 or 3 nights and then head back. Never done any overnighters like this so would be leaning heavily on advice from regulars. Have been talking with Rob about this for some time and Xmas could be the perfect opportunity
cheers

once you've had a bit of a
once you've had a bit of a familiarization I reckon anyone with sound boating experience will be happy to travel back at their leisure.
If you've got younger kids Bruce its fun just throwing the boat in on the weekend and camp in one of the harbours in your area while crabbing etc.
Good opportunity to get used to sleeping aboard as well
