Abrolhos Dash!
Hey Guys,
SimonC, Oracle, Munners and I headed to the Abrolhos after a spur of the moment decision on Tuesday arvo last week! Well need less to say that the decision was a good one with plenty of action from a place ive been meaning to fish for a long time. Pelagic and Demersal action was second to none with plenty of fish boated. Heres a few pics to explain how fish enriched the joint is!
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Sam
Stinking Sambo on PE3, ~24kg
Stickbaited YTK ~15kg on PE3
Jellybean YFT on stick. A slightly larger Fin was hooked next cast to empty my spool rather quickly! Undergunned was the norm with this outfit
Jason's (Oracle) hungry YFT to engulf the poor little Roosta!
One of many picturesque Dhu's
And again....
Turtle Dove was on fire.....
Ive got some more pics on my laptop at home which will be posted tonight!
Cheers,
Sam

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Yeah Pete
Around half of the islands break a few meters high. The water literally goes from 40-50 meters deep to 2 meters in such a short distance breaking over coral. The breakers are big, clean and clear enough to almost see through them..... Beautiful spot
