Abrolhos North Island

Dragged boat up to Kalbarri and headed to North Island and Wallabies for a week.
Covered almost 200 miles, thunderstorms and 40 knots, hail on the first night.
Met some fisher crew out there which was awesome, treated us like family.
Caught a few fish, didn't see a shark til last day.
On the way back, I thought fuck it, let's go into Lucky Bay for the night.
Was a good night, met a few people, socialised, then trolled back to Kalbarri past Wagoe and got some mackie just outside the balloons on the way through in a 30+NE breeze.

Smash'ed it.
Your boat has come up a treat. Mixed bag of weather but you did well to ride out 40 knots of wind.
Is that north end of the Abrohlos slightly less pressured?

when we got back to Kalbarri
when we got back to Kalbarri I bumped in to the VMR lady there.
Id spoken to them about our plans but said we'd log in/out with Geraldton instead as they werent sure if they could get us on VHF out there.
She said they'd had a few calls about us overdue with the shitty weather, good that locals and grey army on tredlies watch such things.
"It was really crappy when you left as well" she said haha (wasnt that bad)
But NOTHING like when we returned and came around the Bluff to find a two up jetski and a small dinghy with 4 people in the washing machine/30 knots NE there, miles downwind from launching I think
