Afternoon Barra session
Went for quick afternoon Barra session today.
We had scored some good fish last Tuesday so back for round two.
Pulled a few more Barra
Jamie with a little Barra to start proceedings......loads of these around which is a good sign of recruitment which means many more years of healthy Barra.
My turn
Business end..... these Killalures really fire the Barra up 
Barneyboy recently built me a custom Spin rod for Barra and offshore plastics. She's one sweet rod
She's a St. Croix 2C66HF 12-25lb (stump-puller) running a Sol 4000 with 30lb braid.
After last Tuesday I think I will be going to 50lb as the Barra this year are fat and pull like steamtrains....
And oh yeh Barneyboy, not working much ATM 
Got to push the rod to her limit......

Barra Morning Session
Back on the Lower Ord this morning.
The rain last night stirred the water up and it was a matter of fishing in front of the brown dirty water as it moved downtream.
Still managed some Barra
Managed to lose a few good Barra to the wood.....nothing like seeing a solid Barra come out the back of the snag tail walking across the water with your favourite Classic in it's mouth.
Yeh Barneyboy waiting for May for you to show me how to stop the trains......or piss myself laughing at you gettiing stiched up mate

awesome stuff mate, my sister and brother in law are living in kununarra, might have to head up there soon and find some fish for myself.
I live with fear every day... sometimes she lets me go fishing.

Some nice barra there Damo...you do need to replace that stick face shirt with a suitable Barra shirt now though.
