Hi guys was just wondering any advice on removing my p66 transducer. Recently purchased a boat with one on it and sits far to high in the water can barley sound at 5 knots. The destructions say to open the lock tab then put two screw drivers either sides of a bevel. Had a quick try but not wanting to break it so I thought I'd consult the experts
Cheers Rosco.

Depends
Hey Roscoe
Really depends on how long is been there for. I'd give it some loosening juice... Wd 40.. Lanolin fiat and let it sit for 30 mins.
I've used these for the last 10 years and they're not the easiest to loosen as they lock in pretty darn tight. Above all take yr time and try adopting as even a pressure as possible when prying own. Good luck and Happy New Year.

Give it a spray with wd 40 etc and let it stand for 40 odd minutes if it's still stuck repeat.

Rossco21 did you manage to get it off
Without breaking it? I'm needing to change my bracket and am having trouble breaking it free so any input would be welcome
