Ali brazing rod for pin hole

Has anyone used an ali brazing rod to repair a tiny pin hole.  The pin hole is in the transom near to one of the bungs so will brazing work on a vertical surface or will it just run off.  There was also some paint  bubbling but I have sanded that back and there are no pin holes under it.

No but it would need to be ultra clean and probably a lot of heat to get it to take, why not just get it tigged or Migged?

Yeah probably will get it welded instead.  I also need to replace some stainless pop rivets in the bungs that are letting water in.

Thanks Shark1.   I have the brazing rods and MAP torch.  I hear what you say about using ali rivets paricularly as bung area always has some water in it from spray.  Bloody galvanic action is the bane of pressed ali boats.  Boat is 14 years old.
