Length would be 1.5 m x3mm thick want to use it to make some rod holders for beach fishing

you could try your local salvage yard. they should be able to provide what you need without the big price tag

When I was a lad
My ol man used to hunt for old bed frames when he needed angle. Works a treat . Verge side collection for freestuff.

Why not just use star pickets... attach some pvc pipe to the top - easy peasy....
Save the Whales! May as well - they won't fit in my catch bag!!!

look in the scrap piles on building sites,usualy see od bits of angl iron,even star pickets,pvc pipes etc
