Tides were all wrong with only 2 mtrs between high and low . By the time I got to the bank the tide had already been on its way out for over 2 hours but with the temp over 40 I thaught the beach was better than sitting at home.

Cheers . Altho this one was a bloody solid fish. Far from being skinny. Unfortunately it wouldn't swim off. A couple of damn good fillets came off. The head and frame are going to one of my customers. Had a feed last night with a touch of lemon pepper cooked in a pan and it wasn't bad at all. Nothing going to waste

Skinnies....
as a kid in Darwin during the 70's caught stacks of them off the Stokes Hill wharf... good eating when wrapped in alfoil, bit of lemon and BBQ'd
