 any auto sparkys on here? i need a brake actuator installed in my 100 series cruiser.

not an auto sparky but a toyota technician, ur sure its the actuator? seen alot of these changed only for it to be the abs ecu under the dash, usually caused by water entry. wots the fault?

 nah i got it wrong i need a controller for an actuator for the trailer ill tow. its got hydraulic over electric brakes so i need a controller in the car so the actuator will work

Think he means an electric brake controller for his trailer brakes????.... But yeah, Iv diagnosed a fault with the electric master cyl/abs unit on a 100 series once, was the electric motor, give it a wack and it came to life!

Theyre pretty easy to fit, hardest bit is just running a wire down to the back. If ya NOR, see the boys at North Coast Auto Electrics in Wangara, I went to TAFE with Brad the manager there, they do top work there, but really, any sparky should be able to throw one in for you no dramas, ask Kempy (hes in Malaga) for FW discount haha

 yeah well im a 240v sparky so should be able to figure it out but for the right price and peice of mind id rather get a proper installation
