Wooden lures
Some of the wooden lures I have seen over the years have been real pieces of art, you wouldn't even think about giving them a swim. So just who or what are the lures made to catch, they are made and painted to catch us fishermen who appreciate fine works of sculpture and art work.

I 'collected' 100 classic
I 'collected' 100 classic lures, a classic lure fishing shirt, and a Plano tackle box by winning a NAFA magazine competition at the end of last year...

I seem to collect them
But dont physically try!?
I walk into a tackle store and walk out with a lure or 10 " Aaahh thats a preety coloured lure isnt it, hope it catches a fiish"
Ends up in the tackle box never to see the light off day. Must have 200odd from days in the Pilbara, now Im fooled by the YFwhiting popping craze, and after 6odd months back have about 40 off them!!!!
Well at least I dont play Golf or race Rally cars anymore, or I would be bust.

All the storm lures have never and will never see water, well aslong as me or the old boy own them.
Some of the aussie ones have been used and abused mainly for bass and yellow belly which they worked a treat!
I have more in my room here which ill try and find.
and yes i have a few tackle boxes of lures that have all intentions of using but havnt.
Whitting popping is the next thing im going to try! Don't want to sell some of your 'collection' do you haha
