Wilson Marine at Fremantle
Wilson Marine at Fremantle Sailing Club (enter via Capo D'Orlando Drive) will sell bait, burley, hooks and sinkers, but it is a boat shop, not a tackle shop.
Not too many options in Fremantle itself.

none of these
Halco is a distribution warehouse, no retail.
Cnr Carrington and Clontarf has stopped selling. A Nursery now.
Could be wrong but fleets closed years ago?
Tackle shop in Freo area = Oceanside. And we are lucky to be locals. only 5 mins out of Freo on South st.
Next door will put a smile on your face too :)
Insert humerous comment here....

Cnr Carrington and Clontarf
It is a nursery but still sell fishing gear. Well they did a couple of months when I was in there buying plants.

+1 for the 'what's the go
+1 for the 'what's the go with the place next door'. Do you mean that dodgy looking massage place across the road? If so, I always thought that looked a bit suss!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Oceanside
Another vote for Oceanside. A lot of people travel a lot further than from Freo to use them as their store of choice.
