I'm heading up to sandy cape mid next week, with the tinny, has anyone been up there lately, much biting? Is there much weed?

43 mozzie/sand fly bites staying at the northern end.
someone said they picked up a gummy, saw some whiting in the shallows but I didn't manage anything. Took a small car topper so I got off the beach but the breeze went from white caps in one direction to white caps in another.
